About The Shore

Recovery Counseling

The Shore Recovery Counseling was founded to bring an end to the struggle with substance abuse. Whether you need alcohol rehab or drug abuse rehab, Michael O'Neal at The Shore provides expert care. Research-based 'best' practices help heal addiction for good by addressing the true root causes.

The approach used at The Shore is holistic and integrative and provides a range of options in caring for a substance abuse disorder. A professional substance abuse counselor (LCDC)  will begin with a thorough assessment of your needs and preferences and design a plan of care tailored to you.

Known widely as 'Mike The Drug Counselor' Michael O'Neal has served as director of 4 treatment centers prior to founding The Shore. He is the author of the book "I JUST WANT TO BE NORMAL"- The ReNova Method of Recovery, a powerful process of recovery he pioneered. A frequent lecturer and expert witness in legal proceedings advocating for clients, Mike has been in recovery since March 17th, 1986.
